In this video, we see how to unlock the hood of a Nissan Micra K12 that was stuck. The only way to access the opening mechanism is to go through the front grille, which we had to drill using a hole saw. From there, we should pull the cable, but in reality, even this system recommended by a mechanic did not work. The solution is instead to turn the latch located behind the mechanism: we insert our hand into the hole we made in the grille, and find a latch that we press with our finger, and the hood will automatically open. The YouTuber shows us where the latch to press is located: essentially, it involves releasing a spring located right behind the opening mechanism.
