The procedure to restore the onboard computer of the Nissan Qashqai J11 to factory settings varies slightly depending on the type of instrument cluster. In the video, we see the version with the central LCD screen: we turn on the instrument cluster and navigate through the menu using the buttons located on the left side of the steering wheel; in the settings, we look for "factory reset." We will be asked to confirm with "Yes," so we select it and wait a few seconds. The display will turn off and then back on, and all values will return to their default settings. If we have the digital instrument cluster, after the vehicle has been stationary for at least 20 minutes, with the ignition off, we press and hold the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously, and without releasing them, we turn on the ignition. We hold the pedals for 10 to 15 seconds. Then we turn it off and back on. This procedure resets the control units at a deep level.
