How to Replace the Clutch in a Nissan Qashqai

To replace the clutch in a Nissan Qashqai, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and lift the vehicle securely. Remove the front wheels and dismantle the components obstructing access to the gearbox, such as drive shafts, supports, and electrical or mechanical connections. Next, support the gearbox with an appropriate stand and unscrew the fixing bolts to separate it from the engine. Once the gearbox is removed, locate the clutch assembly fixed to the flywheel and progressively unscrew the bolts of the pressure plate to extract the worn disc and pressure plate. Check the condition of the flywheel and install the new clutch kit using a centring tool to correctly align the disc. Then reassemble the gearbox in the reverse order of disassembly, reconnect all components, and check the correct operation of the pedal and gear engagement before using the vehicle.
