How to remove the starter motor from a Nissan Pathfinder.
First, using a socket spanner, disconnect the battery power cables, then lift the vehicle on a column lift. Remove the plastic soundproofing panel at the bottom of the vehicle using a plastic lever and socket spanner; disconnect the power terminals of the starter motor with pliers or a screwdriver, depending on the pressure of the tabs. Unscrew the securing bolts of the starter motor with a socket spanner and remove it from its housing. Fit the new starter motor with the power cables and the associated securing screws.
