To replace the battery in the key fob of a first generation Nissan Juke, you need to flip the fob over and locate the small screw on the casing. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw and set it aside.

Next, insert a small flat screwdriver into the slot along the edge of the fob and gently pry it apart to separate the two halves of the casing. Once open, remove the dead battery from its compartment and insert the new one, ensuring the correct polarity is followed.

The first generation typically uses a CR1620, although some versions may use a CR2032, so it is advisable to check the existing battery before purchasing. Finally, close the casing, reinsert the screw, and check the functionality of the buttons.
