Let's see how to replace the air filter on a Nissan Qashqai. We open the car door, pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same with the rod. Remove the filter container cover (unscrew the tightening screws), then, open the air kit, uncover the filter box cap and extract the worn air filter. We insert a new filter in the dedicated housing (making it adhere well around the walls). Finally we reassemble the cap of the air box and tighten the screws. We close the front hood after maintenance.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes.
