Dismantling the Dashboard of the Instrument Cluster on a Nissan Pathfinder

Model: Nissan Pathfinder MK 3, R51 - Years 2005-2012

On the front pillar on the driver's side, there is a handle that you need to remove: to do this, take off the cover clips and unscrew the underlying 10 mm bolts. Disconnect the seal between the door and the pillar, then remove the pillar cover using a plastic lever. Unscrew the screws securing the dashboard under the steering wheel, remove it, and then unscrew the screws that were hidden by that cover. At this point, you can manually remove the speedometer frame and the entire upper dashboard above the steering wheel. Finally, unscrew the side screws that secure the instrument cluster and speedometer, and you're done.
