Before we can begin, we will have to go and sit in the front passenger seat of our Nissan X-Trail. So let's start by disengaging and removing the dashboard insert located in front of the front passenger seat, using a flat screwdriver and prying. After that, we will have to disengage and slightly extract the air conditioning control section, simply by gently pulling them towards us, and then remove the last side insert as well. By doing so, we will have discovered the screws that secure the car radio to the central dashboard. We then proceed by unscrewing and removing the fixing screws, and then extracting the car radio from its housing. When we have completed this last step, we will have to disconnect the rear pins, and we will have successfully completed the disassembly.
