Resetting the Airbag Light on a Nissan

Model: Nissan Nissan Various
Part: Warning light – error code

Video tutorial

Turn on the ignition (not the engine) by turning the key to the ON position. The airbag light will illuminate immediately and start flashing.

When this happens, wait five seconds and turn off the ignition. Repeat this process two more times, for a total of three on/off cycles.

Now turn the key again to the ON position for the fourth time: you will notice that the airbag light will flash much more slowly, indicating that the car is in diagnostic mode. Leave it like this for 30 seconds.

Turn off the ignition and wait 10 seconds. Now turn on the ignition again and you will see that after a few seconds the light will disappear.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
