Resetting the Airbag Light on a Nissan

Turn on the ignition (not the engine) by turning the key to the ON position. The airbag light will illuminate immediately and start flashing. When this happens, wait five seconds and turn off the ignition. Repeat this process two more times, for a total of three on/off cycles. Now turn the key again to the ON position for the fourth time: you will notice that the airbag light will flash much more slowly, indicating that the car is in diagnostic mode. Leave it like this for 30 seconds. Turn off the ignition and wait 10 seconds. Now turn on the ignition again and you will see that after a few seconds the light will disappear.
