Removing the steering wheel airbag on a Nissan vehicle is a fairly simple task to perform independently. First, insert a long screwdriver into the side holes on the steering wheel to activate the internal mechanism.

Perform this operation first on the right hole and then on the left. Once the central body is removed, disconnect the airbag by unplugging the connector.

These same procedures can be applied to Nissan Qashqai, Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Altima, Nissan Teana, and Nissan Rogue vehicles.
