Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

Model: Nissan Micra K12 - Years 2002-2010

Obtain replacement bearings. Lift the vehicle, secure it, and remove the wheel. Take off the metal cover protecting the retaining bolt on the hub, which will need to be unscrewed. If you encounter difficulties, use some penetrating spray. Remove the entire brake assembly to free the shaft. Free the driveshaft by unscrewing the bolts at the base of the propshaft and remove it. Use a puller to remove the disc to access the bearing. Remove the bearing retaining circlip and use a puller to extract the bearing. Clean thoroughly from old grease. Then, position the new bearing inside after greasing it well. Using a piece of wood, tap with a hammer to ensure the bearing fits perfectly into its seat. Reassemble all the components previously removed.
