How to Remove the Entire Centre Console

Model: Nissan Murano MK 1, Z50 - Years 2003-2008

In this short video, you will learn how to remove the entire centre console, including the stereo. First, you need a flat, thin tool (or a flat screwdriver) to pry off the upper casing, specifically the one for the air vents. Gently pry on each side of the casing until all the snap parts disengage. Once the first piece is removed, disconnect an electrical connector to access two screws that, when unscrewed, will allow the side cover of the console to drop. Now, there should be two more screws on the sides of the console. Unscrew these last screws, and you can proceed to extract the entire console. Now, all that remains is to disconnect all the wiring from the back of the console, and you're done.
