How to Replace the Engine Oil and Filter of the Nissan Altima L33

This guide shows how to replace the engine oil and filter of the Nissan Altima L33. From the engine compartment, open the engine oil filler cap to facilitate drainage. From under the vehicle, place a suitable container for fluid disposal and remove the 14 mm drain plug. Position the container under the right front wheel near the filter drain. Unscrew the oil filter and let the lubricant drain out. Lubricate the gasket of the new filter element and install it. Clean up any lubricant residue. From the engine compartment, fill the reservoir with the specified amount of oil as defined in the owner's manual. Start the engine and check the level; top off if necessary.
