How to Change the Engine Oil in a Nissan Altima?

The first step to change the engine oil in a Nissan Altima is to lift the vehicle on jack stands and remove the cover panel located underneath the vehicle. Then, lift the hood and open the oil cap to allow air to facilitate the expulsion of the old fluid. Place a catch container under the oil pan and unscrew the drain plug to empty it, then close it. Replace the filter located near the oil pan, then reattach the panel and lower the car. Go back to the engine bay and pour the engine oil from the jug.
