Every time you change the engine oil and filter in your Nissan Altima, you need to perform a quick manual reset to permanently eliminate the warning light. Here’s how to do it. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Next, locate the buttons on the left side of the dashboard. Enter the settings of the onboard computer and select the "Maintenance" option. Then go to "Engine Oil" and select "Reset." Confirm the reset when prompted, and you're done.
