Oil and Filter Change on the Nissan Rogue

Model: Nissan Rogue S35 - Years 2008-2015

For the oil and filter service on your Nissan, first use the car jack since you don't have a lift. Once the car is raised, remove the plastic protective cover to access the oil filter. Pull out the oil dipstick and get the appropriate socket wrench. Find a container to drain the oil, remove the bolt from the oil pan, and drain it. After this, use a wrench or strap to unscrew the oil filter. At this point, after removing the filter, let it drain, clean the filter seat well, replace the oil pan plug by tightening the bolt without overdoing it, and reinstall the new oil filter, replacing the rubber O-ring. After completing these steps, fill the engine with new oil to the proper level.
