Replacing the Cabin Filter in a Nissan Livina

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the cabin air filter in a Nissan Livina: first, purchase a new cabin air filter from an authorized dealer; next, pull the passenger seat all the way back for easier access; you can find the cabin air filter under the glove compartment, behind the left side panel of the passenger footwell; take a screwdriver and remove the screw securing the side cover (as shown in the video), then remove the side cover from its position. Place a cloth to protect the upholstery from dirt that may come out during the filter removal. Using pliers, pull out the old filter element and then install the new filter in place, following the arrows on the filter itself.
