How to Replace the Oil Filter and Engine Oil on the Nissan Qashqai 1.6 DCi

This short video tutorial will explain how to replace the oil filter and engine oil on the Nissan Qashqai 1.6 DCi. It is very important to use oil recommended by the manufacturer when replacing the oil to avoid damaging some components; for the Nissan Qashqai, you should use Bardhal Plus. Now, as shown in the video, lift the car using a jack and unscrew the plastic pins that secure the oil sump, then remove it to allow the old oil to drain. Once the oil has stopped draining, you can refit the oil sump and remove the jack. Now, remove the oil filter located in the engine bay; it is important to also unscrew the filter housing because before inserting the new one, you must not only change the seal but also clean it with specific additives. After this operation, replace the filter and reassemble everything on the car. As the final step, add the new oil to the reservoir.
