How to Remove the Airbag in a Nissan Altima?

In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the airbag in a Nissan Altima, a very simple operation. Before proceeding, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid accidental airbag deployment, which can be very dangerous. Once that is done, locate the two holes on the back of the steering wheel, then insert a long screwdriver into them to unlock the internal clips. At this point, grasp the airbag, pull it out from the steering wheel, and disconnect the two internal connectors. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
