Replacing the cabin air filter on a Nissan Qashqai is a straightforward task you can do independently. Start by opening the passenger door and removing the mat. Then, remove the panel underneath the glove compartment.

Once the panel is off, you can take out the side cover of the filter. After removing the cover, extract the filter and clean its housing of any leaves.

Insert the new filter and refit both the cover and the panel. It is advisable to purchase a carbon filter, which has a denser and stiffer material that retains better.
