How to Replace the Rear Shocks on a Nissan Altima?

To replace the rear shocks on a Nissan Altima, lift the car using a jack or lift so that the wheels are off the ground. Once lifted, you can loosen the mounting bolts for removal. This will allow you to unscrew the bolts that secure the shock at both the top and bottom of the car, near the axle and wheel well. After the old shock is removed, you can insert the new replacement part, securing the wheel as well.
