Replacing the original radio antenna with a shorter one will give the vehicle a more appealing and modern look; when purchasing the new antenna, it comes with a set of captive pins to allow installation on various car models, as the diameter and thread pitch of the original antenna's fixing hole may vary; therefore, unscrew the original antenna from its support, check the diameter and pitch of the pin to be used, apply it in the threaded hole of the support, and then screw in the new shorter antenna: the result will be optimal.
