How to change the cabin filter on the Nissan X-Trail

Model: Nissan X Trail T32, MK 3 - Years 2014-2023

To change the cabin filter on the Nissan X-Trail, first remove the glove compartment by unscrewing the two plastic screws that secure it. Then unscrew the screws that hold it to the dashboard, removing the lower part first, followed by the glove compartment. Disconnect the electrical connector attached to the back of the glove compartment. Behind it, you will find the cover of the compartment where the cabin air filter is located. Remove the dirty filter and clean the compartment thoroughly to remove dust and debris. Insert the clean filter, ensuring it is fitted in the correct orientation (the arrows should point downwards), then reassemble the glove compartment by replacing its screws, starting with the upper compartment and then closing the plastic clips.
