Let's see how to change the cabin filter on the Nissan X-Trail: to access the filter, we need to remove the glove box by removing the two plastic screws that hold it in place. Then, we need to unscrew the screws that hold it fixed to the dashboard and remove the lower part first, then the entire glove box. We need to disconnect an electrical connector connected to the back of the glove box. Behind it, we will find the cover of the compartment where the cabin air filter is located. We remove the dirty filter and clean the compartment well from dust and debris. We place the clean filter in its place, paying attention to the installation direction (the arrows should point downwards), then we can reassemble the glove box, putting back its screws, starting from the upper part and then closing the plastic clips.
