In this video we see how to change the battery of a Nissan Qashqai J11: we open the hood, the battery is on the right side of the engine block. To remove it we will have to unscrew the support bar and then remove it. We start by always disconnecting the negative terminal first, and then the positive one. Now we can remove the battery and remove the plastic cover. We remove the white oxide inside the terminals, with sandpaper. On the new battery, we will sprinkle the terminals with copper grease, to improve contact with the cables. We put the plastic cover back in place and then the battery. We connect the positive terminal first and then the negative one, then we reassemble the battery fixing bar. Operation completed.
