In this video, see how to change the battery in a Nissan Qashqai J11: open the bonnet, the battery is on the right side of the engine block. To remove it, you will need to unscrew the support bar and then take it out. Start by disconnecting the negative terminal first, then the positive.

Now you can remove the battery and take off the plastic cover. Clean any white corrosion inside the terminals with sandpaper.

On the new battery, apply some copper grease to the terminals to improve contact with the cables. Refit the plastic cover and then the battery.

Connect the positive terminal first, then the negative, and reattach the battery securing bar. Task completed.
