How do you replace the thermostat of the Opel Meriva?

In order to replace the thermostat of the Opel Meriva, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: in the front part of the engine block, you will be able to locate the housing of the thermostat. By loosening the ring that secures the tube connected to the thermostat, you can disconnect it and then loosen the screws that secure the thermostat to its housing; at this point, you can remove the thermostat and replace it with a new spare part. After the replacement, you can secure the new thermostat and reconnect the appropriate tube.
