The tutorial that we are going to expose you is perfect for changing the thermostat on many car models. From the rear part of the car hood, unscrew the radiator fluid drain plug and collect it in a tray. This liquid can be reused by putting it back in the circuit once the work is completed. Disconnect the ground and then the battery poles. Open and remove the diesel filter (also the connector), as shown in the video. Remove the battery and its lower holder as well. Disconnect the preheating control unit by unplugging its connector. As the penultimate step, remove the air duct that goes to the EGR valve by unscrewing the three screws. We finally got to the thermostat! It is fixed by two torx t45s. Reassemble everything by proceeding backwards.
