How to replace the cigarette lighter bulb on the Opel Astra H version

In this video we can see how to change the backlight bulb of the cigarette lighter on the Opel Astra version H: first of all, disconnect the negative pole of the battery (keep the radio code handy) and then we will have to remove the plastic part of the central console located under the handbrake, in order to expose the two small screws that hold the console under the gear lever. Once we have loosened this component, we can remove the superstructures of the console, such as the ashtray cap, and then remove the part with the cigarette lighter. Right in front of the electrical socket, we will find the bulb which we will remove by pulling it towards us. We can replace it with an LED, then insert the bulb back into its housing. Insert the piece back into its housing, put the ashtray back in place and tighten the console screws. We can put back the base that we had removed, under the handbrake. Operation completed.
