After changing the engine oil on the Opel Insignia, you must reset the control system that alerts you with a reminder on the instrument panel about the need for this operation. Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed, and using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, scroll through the main menu on the central display until you select the option related to oil duration.

Confirm the subsequent "reset" request, select "yes" on the next screen, and confirm with "ok" to complete the reset procedure.
