How do you replace the license plate light of an Opel/Vauxhall Astra G?

In this video, we see how to change the license plate light of an Opel/Vauxhall Astra version G: the small light fixture is located on the right side of the license plate, while on the other side we will find a second identical one. Using a screwdriver or a plastic spatula that will not damage any surface, we enter the hole next to the light fixture to lever it out of its housing. Disconnect the electrical connector and replace the burnt-out bulb. The YouTuber rightly wears gloves because the new bulb cannot be touched with bare hands. Reconnect the connector and put the light fixture back in place. If you decide to replace the bulb with an LED one, you will need to change both to have the same light color from both light fixtures.
