How to replace the engine air filter of the Opel Astra? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Open the car's door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it. Using a screwdriver, undo the clamp securing the engine intake pipe and the securing bolts of the container box where the air filter is located. Remove the worn air filter and position a new one, ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the box. Finally, refit the air box cover and tighten the screws. Close the bonnet when finished.
