How to Remove the Clutch on an Opel Astra

This video shows how to remove the clutch on an Opel Astra. Disconnect the battery terminals to protect the car's components. First, lift the vehicle on a column lift to the desired height, then remove the plastic panel covering the engine (if present at the bottom) using the appropriate bolts. Remove the front wheels for better access, unscrew the bolts of the hub with a socket wrench and take them out. Drain the oil from the gearbox and keep it for reuse. Locate the gear lever; there are two bolts underneath that hold the clutch under tension. Remove all clutch components. Prepare to fit the new clutch disc with associated parts. Proceed with the reverse assembly of the operations.
