In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the air filter in an Opel Astra. This operation is extremely simple and quick.

First, ensure that the engine is sufficiently cool, then open the bonnet and loosen the various metal clips indicated using a 7mm socket. Next, disconnect both the sensor connector and the intake duct, unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the box with a Torx T27 key, and remove the upper half of the box. At this point, you can extract the old filter, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
