Learn how to remove the starter motor from an Opel Astra. After removing the engine from the car and placing it on a secure base, disconnect the power connectors from the starter motor using pliers or a screwdriver, depending on the pressure of the tabs. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts of the starter motor and remove it from the engine bay. Finally, fit the new starter motor, connecting the power cables and the respective securing screws. Prepare to reinstall the engine in the vehicle along with all its components.
