How to Remove the Cabin Air Filter on the Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra J - Years 2009-2016

Let’s see how to remove the cabin air filter on the Opel Astra. Pull the plastic cover located on the right side of the dashboard using a lever. Open the glove compartment and unscrew the securing screws around the perimeter with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull out the glove compartment after disconnecting the power cables (if present). Remove the cover plate acting as a cap and slide out the air filter from its housing as shown in the video. Finally, insert the new filter and reassemble all components of the glove compartment as you disassembled them earlier.
