How do you open the convertible top of the Opel Tigra TwinTop?

Model: Vauxhall Tigra MK 2 - Years 2003-2009

In order to open the hood of the Opel Tigra TwinTop, you need to go inside the cabin and then detach the hooks located in the upper part of the ceiling, in the area between the rear window and the actual hood: once these hooks have been detached, you will be able to locate the button on the driver's door. You will need to hold down this button, noting that the rear hatch will open and the hood will close and end up inside the trunk; once the hood is fully open, you can release the button.
