In this video, we see how to clean the EGR valve and tube of the Opel Insignia: first, we disconnect the battery, then locate the EGR valve near the exhaust manifold, which is connected to the intercooler tube with three screws; some models have a connecting arm as seen in the video, for which we need to remove 10mm screws connecting it to a bracket below.

We then disconnect the electrical connector and can remove the EGR valve to replace or clean it, as the YouTuber intends to do, using specific detergents for this purpose - which we will also use for the tube: it can also be found on Amazon with code B01FY0IDDQ priced at 15.50 euros, with free delivery for Prime customers.
