To replace the EGR valve on an Opel Insignia, open the bonnet to locate the components inside the engine bay: at the rear of the block, you will find the EGR valve after removing the upper cover panel. To remove the valve from its seat, disconnect the connector attached to it and loosen the screws securing it to the exhaust manifold.

At this point, remove the old valve, insert the new one, and check that everything is functioning.
