How do you reset the onboard computer of the Opel Astra?

To completely reset the onboard computer of the Opel Astra, you will first need to turn on the instrument panel and then navigate to the menu that appears on the small screen in the center of the dashboard: you will now need to press and hold the SETTINGS button for a few seconds and then release it to press and hold the BC button for a few seconds. By doing this, you will have access to the secret menu of the onboard computer, from which you can select the option for the reset: at the end of the procedure, you will be able to turn off the instrument panel completely.
