How do you replace the leather gear gaiter on an Opel Meriva? Follow these steps: Use a suitable lever (plastic or metal) to detach the plastic gaiter frame on the centre console (cut the plastic tie with side cutters). Once the gaiter is removed from the rod, proceed with reassembly: Slide the leather cover onto the gear rod (secure the tie as shown in the video) and lower the gaiter until it fits into the plastic frame fixed on the centre console. Check the correct assembly of the previously installed parts.
