To remove the ignition cylinder of an Opel/Vauxhall Combo, it is always advisable to first disconnect the battery. In truth, the procedure would require disconnecting the airbags, marking the position of the steering wheel, removing the steering wheel nut and then the steering wheel itself, then removing the plastic covers, disconnecting the connectors and removing the fixing screws, in order to remove the lock safely.

In the video, all of this is bypassed. The YouTuber simply unscrews the fixing screws (we hope he at least disconnected the battery, but we are not very sure) and then, with a few hammer blows, he removed the lock without much ceremony (which would be necessary because the lock is held in place by safety tabs that were literally "ripped" in this way).
