The Opel Astra model J has two fuse boxes inside. The first fuse box is located inside the front hood, while the second fuse box is located inside the cabin. Today, specifically, we will show you how to access the second fuse box. Get inside the car and, being careful not to damage the plastic clips, remove the glove compartment on the driver's side. By doing this, you will have access to the fuse box, which contains small and medium amperage fuses such as the radio fuse, the cigarette lighter fuse, and so on. Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system.
