In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the air filter in the Opel Astra, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, let's make sure that the engine is cool enough to work safely.

Then, we open the hood and locate the airbox, which is located behind the right headlight. Next, we unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the box with a cross-head screwdriver, loosen the clamp of the duct, and lift the cover.

At this point, we just need to remove the old filter, clean the housing of any dirt residue, insert the new part, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
