How to reset the service light on the Opel/Vauxhall Astra K

Let's see how to reset the service light on the Opel/Vauxhall Astra K: turn on the ignition, and using the up/down buttons on the steering wheel, scroll through the options on the dashboard display. Continue scrolling until you highlight the "oil life" option, which, when selected, will show us the remaining percentage. Press and hold the center button (the checkmark on the steering wheel) for 3 to 5 seconds. We will hear a confirmation "beep" and see the percentage immediately return to 100%. Sometimes the option is found in a submenu such as "info system" or "maintenance." On some versions, the operation can be done from the multimedia screen: the setting is the same.
