How to remove the EGR valve from the Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro.

Let's see how to remove the EGR valve from the engine of an Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro (but also Renault Trafic, Nissan Primastar, and Fiat Talento). Before proceeding, we need to decide whether to clean and reinstall the valve (if the diaphragm is intact) or replace it with a new one. First, disconnect the battery, then disconnect the electrical connector of the EGR valve, remove the coolant pipes and the intake manifold, and take out the bolts that secure the valve to the intake manifold using a ratchet with an extension. It is very likely that the valve is stuck, as shown in the video. Clean the two threaded holes with an M6 tap, screw in two M6 hex head bolts, and using two wrenches, alternately and evenly loosen the bolts. They will act as jacks, pushing the valve out of its housing.
