How to activate the cruise control system in the Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra J - Years 2009-2016

To activate the cruise control on an Opel Astra, start the engine and bring the vehicle to the desired speed, generally above 19 miles/h. On the left side of the steering wheel, locate the cruise control buttons. Press the button with the cruise control symbol to turn on the system: the dedicated indicator will appear on the instrument panel. Once the desired speed is reached, press the "SET" or "-" button to memorise it. The vehicle will automatically maintain the set speed. To increase it, press the "+" button, while to decrease it, use the "-" button. To temporarily deactivate the cruise control, press the brake pedal or the "CANCEL" button. To turn it off completely, press the activation button again.
