In this video, the YouTuber provides valuable tips if you want to buy a used Opel Crossland X: they tested a 2023 Opel Crossland with a 1.2 three-cylinder turbo PureTech engine (110 hp) and share the pros and cons after a week of use. The fuel consumption is low: they achieved 5.3 L/100 miles in mixed driving. The turbo engine performs well, similar to a diesel, and the car is comfortable and well-insulated, with a pleasant driving experience. Excellent visibility, large mirrors, a spacious boot, and plenty of rear space. The equipment is good: automatic headlights and wipers, automatic high beams, front/rear parking sensors, camera, cruise control, adjustable leather steering wheel, and the engine bay has a metal framework with an easy-to-replace battery. However, there are also some drawbacks: many plastics vibrate, and some finishes are poor. Some details are not well thought out. For example, there are no USB ports or air vents in the rear seats, and the infotainment system is outdated. The 1.2 PureTech engine is the notoriously problematic PSA with an oil-bath timing belt, and it does not have alloy wheels but plastic wheel covers. The YouTuber's final verdict is: Comfortable, spacious car with low fuel consumption and pleasant driving, but with perceived build quality as medium-low (plastics and assembly) and some lack of comfort for rear passengers.
