How to Remove the Cylinder Head Gasket on an Opel Zafira

Model: Vauxhall Zafira Zafira B, A05, MK 2 - Years 2005-2011

This guide shows how to remove the cylinder head gasket on an Opel Zafira. Remove the plastic soundproofing panel on the engine head and pull out the oil dipstick; remove the air intake box and all its components (using a socket wrench). Disconnect all the connectors supplying electricity to the glow plugs with needle-nose pliers. Remove the various wiring present on the head (disconnect the metal clips of the various pipes and the power connectors using pliers). Remove all the spark plugs from the head and unscrew all the bolts on top with a socket wrench (remove it along with the gasket). Reassemble everything in reverse order.
