The oil service is the most basic type of service and involves a simple oil and oil filter change, without replacing other filters or the timing belt as done in a full service. In this case, after lifting the engine cover, unscrew the oil filter and replace both the cartridge and the seal before refitting it in place.

Next, move under the car and drain the used oil through the designated hole in the oil sump, and complete the oil service by adding 4 litres of new engine oil through the appropriate filler neck.
