How to Set the Automatic Door Lock Function on an Opel/Vauxhall

Model: Vauxhall Opel Various
Part: Car door

Video tutorial

The video shows the procedure to lock the doors on your Opel/Vauxhall with the IntelliLink system (such as Mokka X, Astra K, Crossland X, Grandland X, Insignia B): turn on the ignition, and press the "settings" button on the multimedia screen. Select "vehicle" and go to "electronic door lock". Activate "automatic door lock" by checking the box or pressing "on". You can now exit the menu.

With this function activated, the doors automatically lock when exceeding 10/20 mph, and unlock when the key is removed or the engine is turned off. For cars without IntelliLink (like Opel Corsa F and E, Adam, and Karl), simply hold the "door lock" button on the dashboard for 5 seconds.

On Astra J, Zafira, Meriva B, use the steering wheel buttons to select "settings", then vehicle, and find "auto lock" to activate.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
