In this video, learn how to perform the Pedal Check on an Opel vehicle. This allows you to check which error the vehicle is signalling simply by pressing the pedals: press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously, then turn on the ignition. The display will show 'ECN' and highlight the errors until the engine light flashes. Then the mileage will appear, and at that point, the check is complete. For decoding the errors, our presenter recommends an app like Torque Pro - and you will need to connect your OBD11 to the EOBD socket, through which you can clear any errors that appear. After clearing all potential errors, disconnect any sensor to see if it registers the error. Repeat the entire procedure starting from the pedals to check what the vehicle indicates. The vehicle will show exactly what you have caused. Reconnect the sensors, then clear the errors and verify that they have indeed been cleared from the ECU, which has actually happened.
